Cake-licious.

Originally our cake was going to be stark white. Nothing dramatic. And then people were like, 'What are you doing?! That's not you at all!' So we changed it up and I am so glad we did. I loved the green our cake decorator came up with. And the cake topper was actually my first purchase for the wedding. I think we had been engaged for about three days when I bought it. No doubt about it, I act quickly.

Right before I went into the church I was thinking to myself, 'There's something I'm forgetting...' Oh, and then I remembered. A big ol' kiss from my very adorable little brother. SMOOCHES.

Bikes in My Hair.

Bikes. Bikes. EVERYWHERE. Bikes, Bikes, in my hair. My point exactly. I thought there be no need to stop this whole bicycle theme at the wedding. Let's carry it on to the rehearsal dinner. Here's Joe's Groom's Cake. A Southern tradition. That I did in a sort of nontraditional way ... cupcakes. Choclate, vanilla, red velvet, key lime, coconut. Yum. And then Heather used her CHINA connections to have these super cute water bottle favors done.

The Getaway

Thanks to Ashley (amazing bridesmaid) & Dave (super cool gift bearer), we had the MOST PERFECT wedding getaway. About a week before the wedding, they presented us with our very own custom tandem bicycle. Fit with tied-on tin can accessories coming off the back and a JUST MARRIED sign. Coolest gift that fit our wedding theme DEFINITELY went to them. It doubled as a prop at our wedding reception (where people got tons of cool pictures sitting on it) and our 2-wheel getaway. The most perfect ending to the most perfect wedding.

... Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Madzar! And Kuma Faye & Kum Craig (fun Croatian names our Maid of Honor and Best Man get)! Ah, where to even start on this fan-tabulous day. To Joe & I it was perfect. And that's what matters, right?! We feel completely and utterly blessed. And I still don't think we've come down from our wedding/honeymoon high.
