Gobble. Gobble.

The FEAST!
Clayton, Dave, and Ashley excited about Thanksgiving!
This year for Thanksgiving, we decided to host our own dinner and invite TONS of friends. Joe and I cooked the turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing while everyone else brought side dishes and dessert. Everything turned out so good! We stuffed ourselves as all good Americans do and then sat around in the living room and chatted the afternoon away. That night, Joe did what he does best...built a campfire! Everyone gathered around with their second plate of food and continued to celebrate the holiday. After the fire went out, we all nestled in and watched a movie and took some much needed naps. Although we definitely missed being with family, we sure had a blast celebrating with our friends and feel we brought in the holidays with a bang. Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was a winner. All the best.

Smartt Fabric

Whoah, I've started selling fabric! MelodySmartt.etsy.com And it's all due to a little push I got from my great friend, Robin.

Robin started selling baby chic items on Esty some time ago. Her site is EllaJeanGifts.etsy.com. She was constantly getting the cutest fabrics in that included designers Amy Butler and Joel Dewberry. I was completely intrigued! In no uncertain terms, it had me from hello.

After seeing Robin's succes and the success of Etsy.com, I wanted to join in on the fun. With tons of help from Robin and many hours spent studying fabrics, I've begun selling fabric on my Etsy site. Most yards of fabric are $7.50/yard which is considerably cheaper than the $9-$10/yard you will find in most retail shops. I've also paired together some fun fabrics in 1/2 yard sets. Take a look!

Hopefully you're a fabric-lover yourself and will take a peak at what I have to offer. Or maybe you have some great friends and family who would enjoy a steal of a deal on designer fabric. Pass the word along and stop by MelodySmartt.etsy.com anytime!

Happy Halloween Ya'll

I was so happy to find out that Halloween fell on a Friday this year. How perfect! That means more partying on Friday night without the fear of having to wake up the next morning for work. Joe and I went to a Halloween Bash held by our great friend, Ashley. I went as a Native American, aka a Southern Fulton Indian. I'm always representing the PA. And Joe went as...himself, aka God's Gift to Women.
