Exhausted

We are #EXHAUSTED here in the Madzar house.

This election has downright taken it out of us.

We might even be more exhausted than

the candidates' wallets

after spending millions in promoting their campaigns.

(at least a fair amount was pushed back into our economy)

Maybe I'm older and crankier these days.

Or maybe I'm older and pay attention more.

But when did mud-slinging become so popular?

(candidate-to-candidate & public-to-candidate)

I must say, though, I love the voting process.

Joe & I vote at our local VFW.

Standing in line this year, I looked up on the walls to see our military's flags and seals.

I looked down to see several blotches of Emilija's snot on my sleeve.

We live in a great country.
