Leap of Faith

We urgently started searching for job opportunities in New Hampshire.  We really, really tried.  We really, really looked.  We really, really wanted to be fiscally responsible.  All of this effort was to no avail and we were getting impatient.

Joe mumbled out the words, "Let's just go.  We'll figure it out."

Against my controlled, conservative self we put our house on the market the next day for rental.  Within four days it was rented out at asking price, we were reserving our moving truck, and I was packing boxes.

We were doing it.  We were doing it without any empirical evidence that it would work.  It was scary.  It was exhilarating.  I believe they call it a leap of faith.  I had only done something like that once before- when I had moved in with Joe after only knowing him for a weekend.  That guy really brings it out in me, I guess.
